Homemade gyros in pita bread

Ingredients (6 pieces)

6 homemade pita breads
400 g chicken fillets
2 tbsp oil
2 teaspoons of sweet pepper
2 garlic cloves
salt pepper
1 teaspoon homemade harris or a pinch of hot pepper powder
Iceberg lettuce
tomatoes
1 red onion
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt

Execution

Sweet peppers, harris or hot peppers, finely chopped garlic mix with oil and rub the chicken fillet so prepared. We add salt and pepper as desired. We leave the meat in marinade for at least half an hour. Warm up the pan and fry the fillets under cover, all the marinade ingredients should be in the pan. Fry meat whole for about 5 minutes. Then remove them from the pan and leave for a few minutes. From the pan, pour the oil into the bowl. Cut the chicken into slices and fry again in a hot pan, watering it with the remaining oil. Frying should take 5-7 minutes.
Cut vegetables as desired, mix yogurt with mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper. Fill cut breads with meat, vegetables and pour sauce. Bon Appetit :)
