A simple and cheap recipe for zucchini with frankfurters

1 kg of young green zucchini
approx. 800 g of red pepper with thick walls
500 g sausages or other sausage
¼ cup oil
1½ cup tomato puree
salt, sugar, ground black pepper to taste
favorite herbs (for me marjoram and oregano) to taste
possibly 1 medium onion (I did not give)

Heat the oil in a saucepan, stew the diced onion, stew the diced pepper and stew until tender. Add the zucchini peeled and chopped into sticks and stew. When the zucchini softens, throw the sausages cut into narrow slices and stew for a moment. We pour the tomato puree, stew for a moment. We add salt, sugar and ground pepper to taste and favorite herbs (marjoram and oregano for me) and keep it on fire for a while. We serve hot to bread.
